In 1979, a shop specializing in custom design florals, home décor, and gift items was established in the small, but growing Kansas City suburb of Blue Springs, MO.  Linda Hinton, the owner and creator of Petals & Potpourri, had a desire to provide a local business that would offer customers a variety of unique decorating options and unusual gift ideas.  The concept has remained the same for thirty years and the business has continued to grow to include Linda's son, Mike, as store manager.  It is their goal to accommodate everyone who visits Petals & Potpourri with exceptional customer service and competitive prices.
