The Power of Caring and Kindness

The celebrations are in full swing. Whether getting together with friends or family, the sentiment of sharing is what we love most about the Christmas season. The power of caring by an act of kindness, or a gift can bring such happiness! The world seems to be a smaller place during this season of giving, as we feel more connected to others. We hope this is a season of joy for you. We are here to help make it happen with a little less stress.

Cheese Ball with Tea Towel

We love to make cheese balls to serve and pass out at parties. We pull out the big mixer and make a huge batch. Wind & Willow recipes include a block of cream cheese and the butter is optional. Some are sweet, some are savory. The cheese balls are wrapped in tissue with a bow and placed in a small gift bag with crackers. If you are pressed for time, pair the cheese ball mix with a one of our cute tea towel with a funny saying for a hostess gift.

The Gift of Bread

Our beer bread mix doesn't require much gussying up to make it perfect for gift giving. Bake it in a disposable tin and slip it into a clear cellophane treat bag and cinch it closed with some baker's twine. And no one needs to know how easy it is to prepare. Mix with any carbonated beverage (I prefer Boulevard Wheat), mix, and bake for 55 minutes. Let the aroma of this home style, warm, buttery bread fill your house. What better way to say I care than to give the gift of bread.

Wine Bottle with Tea Towel

Another usual gift for a hostess is a bottle of wine. Add a unique twist and some fun and flair by wrapping the bottle with one of our tea towel and tying it all together with a bow. Pick a tea towel saying that you know your hostess will love and they can enjoy the towel for years to come.

Once again - a sincere thank you - not only for your patronage but including us in your lives. Whether you have needed a gift or bought something special for your home. We feel honored that you have chosen to come to us.

Merry Christmas from everyone at Petals & Potpourri. We hope your holidays will be filled with joy and laughter through the new year!

Sincerely, Mike and Amber Hinton
