Front Porch Inspiration for Spring

Updated: Mar 12, 2020

We love a decorated front porch! This special space is an extension of your house, which means it's equally important. It's the first thing your friends and family see when they arrive at your house. Along with the neighbors, delivery drivers, joggers, dog walkers, and folks driving up and down the street.

I have to admit, I am totally a front porch stalker! I pay close attention to how people style their doorways, furniture, and porch planters. There are several beautiful homes on my typical driving routes that display bold, fun seasonal decor on their porches and I LOVE to see how they change with the season.

So, what does your front porch say about your personality right now? It may say more than you normally think about. Is it saying you are ready for spring? St. Patrick's Day? In between seasons? Still displaying items from past seasons? We understand life is busy. Our outdoor collections make it so easy and fun for you to create a cohesive look by using some staple items that can easily be changed with the seasons.

Our Spring Front Door

Nothing says "welcome" like one of our beautiful handmade wreaths or door-pieces to give a fresh face to your front door. Whether you prefer a wreath that is full, simple, colorful, muted, Easter, or spring inspired, we work with you to make arrangement that is a reflection of your own style and taste. We went with a twiggy orange and pink tulip wreath for spring this year.

Beautiful Handmade Wreaths

For the welcome mat, we chose the Terra Flora Hummingbird design by Jennifer Brinley! This outdoor mat pairs beautifully with a decorative rubber tray. The mats are interchangeable and we have a huge selection so you can easily change your mat for the season, or specific holidays! Complete the look with a coordinating garden flag and magnetic mailbox cover.

Since our front porch is covered, we do artificial greenery in the porch planters that sit right outside the front door. We started by placing our willow twig garland around the top and spilling over the front of the planter. A beautiful bright green fern gives a backdrop to the garden stakes nestled into the greenery. We are completely obsessed with our metal garden stakes! They are so well made, and embellished with glitter! The large bow wired to the garden stake is an inexpensive way to add more color and fill the planter.

Easter Porch Planters

The black and white check bunnies have a removable stake, built-in easel, AND a hanger on the back to make them a versatile accessory for a planter, wreath or stand alone decor. Oh, the possibilities! We placed one in the tray and wired the other one into this huge poppy wreath.

Our NEW welcome signs have removable toppers that can be changed for different seasons, holidays, and celebrations! I am excited to collect them all! Check out our entire collection in the store. We have a flower, pineapple, silly peeps, just married, American flag, and my favorite, a cupcake with a lit candle! How fun is that?!
