Now that Valentine's Day is over, we have started transitioning our home from winter to spring. Time to remove all of the red hearts, winter greens, and icy snow scenes. We "hopped" right on over to bunnies, carrots, tulips, and eggs! We are early decorators for sure. Even though we are in that period where mother nature has snow flurries in the air, other days the sun is shining and the temperatures rise into what feels like spring! We are ready to start celebrating! It is really not that far off, my peeps. Easter is on April 12th, which is just about 6 weeks away!
We joke around the shop this time of year, to put away all your winter decor and snowmen so spring will come! We now object to signs that say "Let it Snow" because we are dreaming about the warmth of spring! Here's what we have spring up at our house!
We are ready for brighter colors these days and our latest springtime color crush is pink and orange. A few pink tulips on the mantle for color, and orange tulips and carrots in the kitchen.
The coffee table tray is a more subtle reminder of spring. A simple bird with a nest reminds us that it is not far away. I love to tuck these vintage tags everywhere. They are fun to tie onto gift sacks, but also nestled inside lanterns, glass cloches, and they make a great book mark!
